The monument was erected in 1611 and ever since has been a symbol of Competence, Compassion, and Commitment. As the inscription on the Arch says, “Gateway to the history of the finest breed of Filipinos;” we, the Quadcentennial Thomasians, must be proud to be Thomasians at 400! Viva Santo Tomas!
